To champion local business, provide access to local resources, and continue to unite the business community under the common goal of growth and sustainability.

The WLCC is focused on providing events that foster networking and relationship building while continuing to make Windsor Locks a business destination. Our organizational target is to be a Chamber of value that helps businesses succeed and supports the town in which they are located.

This will be achieved through consistency; consistency in communications, events, and various doings. By continuing to be redundant and simplistic in our approach, the board of the WLCOC can be assured that our means and mediums of communication are not lacking.

Part of achieving this will be found through harmony; harmony in terms of how the Board, and the membership, participates in the creation of a successful, and sustainable, chamber of commerce.

We will continue to be cost conscious and will begin to foster a focus on longevity. We are not a savings account and do not want to collect funds to simply collect funds. We will always spend within our means while saving monies for future events and the expenses those events will generate.

We will continue to create synergy, when appropriate, with the other business entities involved in the town. Entities like the Bradley Development League (BDL), the Economic and Industry Development Commission (EIDC), and the Lions could prove to be valuable to exposing the efforts of the chamber as well as eliminating duplicate events within town. By expanding the various businesses and people each entity touches on, we can be surer that our efforts are reaching a broader base of support.

Finally, we will continue to support, and champion the Tobacco Valley Chamber Alliance and the benefits that the organization creates. In our estimation, the TVCA is the best entrance into a continually expanding economy. As business is no longer simply located "in town," we feel it's important to engage with entity's that expand our reach beyond the town lines.
